There aren't enough steer clubs
across the country , to have organized shows giving these great
animals and their trainers the recognition they deserve. There for we have
created many awards that will be a permanent record on your steers
registration papers that will stay with him for his entire life time. In this
way, all of your hard work and his success won't be lost.
If you are ever to sell your steer this will also greatly
increase his value, as you have proof of his wonderful
accomplishments.

Programs Offered
Parade: This awards allows you to earn points for attending parades. Each parade
earns points that will be applied to year end and over all achievement
awards.

For each public trail ride you go on, you will earn points. Year end

You can actually transfer points from your breed registry
to IRSA. Confirmation is a big part of longevity for steers and halter
is a great place to show it.

Partnership Award:
This award was suggested by one of our members who enjoys Natural
Horsemanship techniques with her horses and wanted it applied to her
steer. This award traces personal goals, such as standing tied, loading
in a trailer, saddling and more. A perfect goal setting application for
calves or those getting started.
Fine Harness: Achieve your personal goals while tacking them with this award. Like the
partnership award you can track personal goals in training as well as
earn points for show, parade and work with a buggy and harness.

than Droving.
Farm and Ranch:
Many people have more than one steer. This awards allows them to combine
award points in all categories to show how talented they are. Steers
must earn points in 4 categories to achieve this award.
*Note* your steer must hold
a IRSA certificate prior to turning in points for any program. All
programs are separate so please keep your paper work separate when you
turn it in.
